All three of my day in the life of a teacher days were following my mentor teacher who was the head of math's at the school. Dealing with her responsibilities and the task that she needed to do in the day were challenging at first seeing that it was new but once I found my rhythm I enjoyed it. It made me realize how much one teacher has to do in one day and the tasks are not just teaching but also break duties and marking and book checking were a lot of stuff to do in one day. Taking responsibility in block two was much easier because I understood the school better, I understood the students better and I had a better understanding of the culture of the school whereas in block one I was still new to everything and therefore it was a bit more difficult. I think what made it easier during block 2 was that the students knew me and the staff knew me so we were much more comfortable with one another and it just flowed better. Looking at my beginning competence I can see now that I have improved in some of the areas. For instance understanding how the students learn I marked as competent but I think I improved with that. Assessing the learners became easier because I started to understand the students and they started to understand my way of teaching. I spent more time on the assessing individually and as a group and focus more on the preparation of the assessments.

Looking at the exit level outcomes the areas that I could improve on were identifying and adapting my teaching methods to the unique needs of learners in data settings which links to what I marked in the Beginner competence of identifying the diversity of the students and their different needs. In the Beginner competence I've marked my ability to do so as proficient and though I got four out of five for that outcome there is still place for improvement. Another key outcome of the exit level outcomes is demonstrating sound subject and pedagogical knowledge which the mentor teacher marked me five out of five which links to what I marked as distinguished in the Beginner teacher competence.

Looking at this the Beginner teacher competence and exit level outcomes they are quite similar meaning that even though I got full marks for two out of the four sections work still needs to be done in the two other outcomes. But the experience of the three days was amazing. I got to see learners for a whole day and to experience the stress and the responsibility teachers experience every single day. I welcomed input from other teachers and comments from my mentor teacher which helped me, especially for the last day, to do the best that I could. Using what they told me, I applied it to the last day and out of all three of the days, I found that I coped and managed better in the last day with the help and the guidance of the other teachers. All in all, it was a great experience and I have learned so much in those three days and it has given me a taste of what to expect in my teaching career.

Great to hear you were able to use feedback to your advantage and incorporate it into more effective teaching practices. Shows that you use reflective practices effectively and able to remain humble during stressful circumstances. You will make a fantastic teacher and it is my sincerest hope that the post you get is worthy of your talents.

The student exhibits critical thinking abilities in practice. The two blocks of teaching experience show a distinct progression and maturation in him. The student now exudes greater confidence in his professional competencies, skills, and abilities.

He is going to be a valuable asset to whichever school in which he is placed.
